PHYSIO LED CLASSES
PILATES AT FORTIS PHYSIO
Our physiotherapy-led Pilates programs are designed to improve strength, control, mobility, and confidence in movement — whether you’re recovering from injury, managing pain, or building long-term physical resilience.
All Pilates at Fortis is delivered by qualified physiotherapists and tailored to your individual goals, injuries, and experience level.
Types of Pilates Sessions We Offer
🔸Initial Pilates Assessment: 45 MINUTES
Your Pilates journey at Fortis begins with an individual assessment. During this session, one of our physiotherapists will:
Assess your goals, movement patterns, and limitations
Identify any injuries or areas of concern
Determine your suitability for 1:1 or group clinical Pilates
Recommend the most appropriate type and frequency of classes
If you are new to Pilates, we will introduce key Pilates principles and guide you through suitable exercises using either matwork or reformer equipment.
This session is required before commencing Pilates classes at Fortis.
Book online with Ashleigh or contact our reception team to get started.
🔸1:1 Clinical Pilates Sessions
A fully personalised session programmed specifically for you, based on your goals, injuries, or medical conditions.
Your physiotherapist will design and guide a tailored session that may include:
Matwork and reformer Pilates exercises
Resistance bands and other Pilates equipment
Ongoing hands-on guidance and technique correction
In a 1:1 session, you are the sole focus — allowing for unlimited feedback, support, and progression.
Available with our physiotherapist Ashleigh.
Book online or contact reception to organise a session.
🔸Group Clinical Pilates Classes: 50 MINUTES | 4:1 CLASS RATIO
Our small-group clinical Pilates classes are held in our gym and maintain a low participant-to-physio ratio to ensure personalised care.
Each class:
Varies in focus to suit different needs and goals
Can be adapted to accommodate injuries or limitations
Still provides individual feedback and exercise modifications
Smaller class sizes mean you continue to receive professional guidance while benefiting from the motivation of a group environment.
For class availability and bookings, please contact our friendly reception team.
